Dark Minds

Here's what the blurb has to say:

You think you know darkness? Think again. Bloodhound Books presents Dark Minds - a collection of stories by authors who have come together to produce an anthology that will lure, tantalise and shock its readers. What took place By the Water? What goes on behind A Stranger's Eyes? And what is so special about Slow Roast Pork? From master authors such as Lisa Hall, Steven Dunne, Louise Jensen and Anita Waller, readers can expect a one hell of a ride...All profits from the sale of this book will be donated to Hospice UK and Sophie's Appeal. Dark Minds: a collection of crime and thriller short stories from some of your favorite authors. All profits will be donated to charity.

Here are my thoughts:

Now, unless you've been living under the proverbial social media rock for the last 6 weeks, you may have seen this little thing popping up once or twice a day on your feeds, in case you were wondering what it was all about, its an anthology of short stories brought together in one, stupendous book by the brilliant Bloodhound books. It has all been done for charity. 2 charities in fact Hospice UK and Sophies Appeal. All profits from the sale of this book will go to them.

This book brings together all of your favourite authors and introduces you to some brand new ones. And the beauty of this is that each one brings their own unique, inimitable style. Due to the variety on offer from crime stories to more spooky ghost ones, not to mention the odd dark sci-fi ones for the geeks amongst us (i include myself in that ) there is a guaranteed something for everyone here. As with anything like this, there are bound to be some stand out favourites, no matter how good they all are. For me i thoroughly enjoyed i've gone by Anita Waller & Never tell a lie by Tara Lyons. You will also find secreted at the end of this collection, a wonderfully written short story by a brand new author Jenna-Leigh Golding. Definitely a talent to look out for and keep an eye on. All in all a wonderful collection of short stories that anyone would be pleased to read.

Thank you to Bloodhound books for the opportunity to read, all thoughts and opinions in this review are entirely my own.
