It Had To Be You

It was without a doubt this gorgeous cover that first drew me to the book. Looks fluffy & fun and this is exactly what you get.

Bea is 25 years old. Lives in London and has spent ten years dreaming about a park, a bench and a man. The whole reason she moved to London was on the basis of the dream, so i think that alone tells you just how much of a hopeless romantic she really is.

As Be a takes a stroll through the park one day, she sees a vision. The man of her dreams! THE man. Sat there as if waiting for her. What else can she do but say hello? But can that be as simple as it sounds?

After a couple of dates, Bea starts to wonder if this dream man is actually the one. He's lovely, handsome, nice...everything you could wish for. So where are the fireworks? The sparks? She's convinced that it's not important, as long as she is secure and safe. However, when asking her friends for advice they completely disagree.

A couple more dates and the dream starts to change, Henry, her landlord, work colleague and friend is thrown into the mix, but why? Can she figure all this out and get her happily ever after?

This book was pure fun. Not a hard read, and was a perfect break to what i usually have on my bookcase. A quick read too, that is well worth your time. The storyline is a familiar one, but with the authors fresh and unique style it gives it a new lease of life. Really enjoyable with bits that will make you smile.
